HA NOI (VNS) — North Korean Club 4.25 were declared the winners of the VTV Binh Dien International Women's Club Volleyball Tournament yesterday in the Quang Tri Province.
The team defeated defending champions Lien Viet Postbank 25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 25-21.
North Korean player Jong Jin-sim was awarded a hat-trick of prizes as she was voted the best athlete, best spiker and best middle blocker at the annual event.
In an earlier match Kazakhstan's Astana Club had beaten Vietnamese team VTV Binh Dien Long An during the third-place playoff match to win the bronze medal.
The next tournament will be organised in the Ninh Binh Province. — VNS
