Coach Mai Duc Chung will not lead the Vietnamese U-22 football team to the Asian Under-22 Football Championships 2013 qualifiers in Myanmar from June 22 to July 9.

Secretary General of the Viet Nam Football Federation Ngo Le Bang said Chung had failed to get Certificate B in accordance with regulations of the Asia Football Confederation.

Chung was replaced by Lu Dinh Tuan, who used to coach V-League side Sai Gon FC.

The team will convene in Ha Noi on June 5 in preparation for the event. Viet Nam will play in Group G against South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei and hosts Myanmar.- VNS
