BEN TRE (VNS) — The fourth Coconut Festival opened on Tuesday in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre.
The week-long event aimed to honour local coconut growers and gives the farmer's opportunities to promote and develop their businesses.
The chairman of the province's People's Committee Vo Thanh Hao said products from coconuts made in Ben Tre were exported to 68 countries and territories, earning US$200 million per year.
Many cultural activities are being launched to attract local and foreign visitors. — VNS
