Color Me Run held for all

Runners in Ha Noi will be taking to the streets in a more vibrant way this Saturday.

HA NOI (VNS) — Runners in Ha Noi will be taking to the streets in a more vibrant way this Saturday.

The Color Me Run, a 5km race that will be held in Long Bien District, aims to promote an active lifestyle in a fun and unique way.

Participants of all ages will be doused from head to toe in different coloured powders - a mix of corn starch and food coloring powder - as they walk, jog or run across the finish line.

The event by Pulse Active was held in HCM City for the first time last year. It aims to inspire young people to participate in an active lifestyle.

"Color Me Run will contribute to building a more vibrant Ha Noi and HCM City to attract more tourists through the exciting sporting event," said Le Thanh Thuy, an organisation representative.

Color Me Run participants will also have the chance to run to the beat of musical performances by Australian and Vietnamese singers Tim Omaji, MIN, Lava Band and DJ Phat Beats.

Participants are anxiously awaiting the performance by Tim Omaji, who is acclaimed for his dance moves and singing talent.

Returning to Color Me Run this year, MIN and her dance crew ST.319 will explode the stage with top popular hits such as Yeu (Love), Tim (Seeking) and Luon Ben Anh (Always With You).

In addition to the musical artists, many activities await the runners at the finish line.

The event will be held Saturday at Vinhomes Riverside from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. — VNS
