Contemporary music composer Vu Nhat Tan will pair up with dan tranh (16-chord zither) artist Nguyen Thuy Dung for a concert at Manzi Art Space today.

The young and talented Dung has been making waves recently in the music community in Ha Noi. With a refreshing and open-minded approach to music, she has been praised as having what it takes to revamp the use of this traditional Vietnamese stringed instrument.

As one of the pioneering Vietnamese experimental sound artists and electronic musicians, Tan has collaborated with various local and international artists. He has performed at many festivals throughout Europe, Australia and the US.

During the show tonight, he will once again bring his exhilarating sonic work to local audiences.
