HCM CITY (VNS)– A street lighting contest will be held in HCM City until the end of next month. All interested individuals and enterprises are welcome to join in and decorate downtown areas of the city by night.

The contest aims to seek for the best and most modern designs for festivals and public holidays. The contest will be spread over seven areas, including Le Loi Street and Lam Son Park; Dong Khoi Street and park near the Opera House; Le Duan Street and Pasteur Street; Truong Son-Nguyen Van Troi-Nam Ky Khoi Nghia streets and Ton Duc Thang Street.

The best and most feasible design will be chosen to decorate the city centre from next Tet (lunar new year festival). – VNS
