Organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba, the exhibition marks the 69th anniversary of the Viet Nam's August Revolution and Vietnamese National Day.
Speaking at the opening ceremony on Thursday, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Duong Minh said the display offered Cuban people the chance to learn about the resistance and wars to defend the country and its independence.
The images also document Viet Nam's achievements and the first visit to the country by President Fidel Castro in March, 1973. — VNS
