(VNS) The Da Nang U21 football team on Thursday beat Dak Lak 2-1 to qualify for the National U21 Football Championship in Hai Phong city from September 26 to October 6.

The win took Da Nang to the top of Group B. Da Nang will join Viettel, Ha Noi T&T, Dong Thap, HCM City, Vinh Long, Song Lam Nghe An and Hai Phong in the final round.

Eight teams will compete in a two-group round-robin contest. The winners will qualify for the semi-finals.

The winner will walk away with VND250 million (US$12,000). — VNS
