Da Nang International Marathon is expected to attract almost 3,000 professional and semi-professional athletes to the start on September 1.

They will take part in the 42.195km marathon, 21.0975km half marathon and 5km fun run and walk.

Prizes will be presented to the first three finishers in both the marathon and the half marathon. Registration will be open until July. Go to www.rundanang.com.

The marathon is being co-organised by the municipal People's Committee and US World Marathon Tours Inc, in consultation with the Association for International Marathons and Distance Races.-VNS
