DA NANG (VNS) — The central city of Da Nang expects to receive 8.95 million visitors a year by 2020, including 2.45 million foreigners.
Ngo Quang Vinh, director of the city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said to achieve the target local authorities have drawn up a services development plan to develop Da Nang into a tourism hub of the central and Central Highlands regions.
More air services are set to be launched to Da Nang and tourism products and services will be diversified in co-ordination with other central localities to attract more domestic and overseas visitors.
Da Nang targets tourism revenues of VND11.8 trillion ($540 million) this year. — VNS
