As many as 120 Russian tourists who bought tours
from tourist company Lanta Tur Voyage were stranded in central Binh

BINH THUAN — As many as 120 Russian tourists who bought tours from tourist company Lanta Tur Voyage were stranded in central Binh Thuan Province as the company announced it had ceased operations since last Friday, according to Hoang Van Toan, an official at the provincial department of culture, sports and tourism.
The department, provincial People's Committee and Russian consulate sat together yesterday to find a solution and is expected to arrange free flights for the tourists to return home in the next few days.
The tourists are now at local resorts of Bamboo Village, Hoang Ngoc, Hai Au and Rock Garden which agreed to offer them free services.
Lanta Tur Voyage based in Moscow is one of the leading tourism agencies in Russia, selling outbound tours for over 100,000 people each year. — VNS
