HCM CITY — Dong Thap Province yesterday won two cycling titles at the ongoing National Games in Nam Dinh.

Le Ngoc Son took the men's individual road race with a time of 3hr 40.03min. Teammate Nguyen Truong Tai came in second followed by Nguyen Thanh Tam of An Giang Province.

Son and Tai went up the podium a second time as Dong Thap also took the team event with a time of 11:03.06. HCM City won the silver and the Military won the bronze medal.

Starting today, athletes will compete in two-day mountain cycling events. Afterwards, they will compete in downhill and cross-country competitions. — VNS
