Dung of Dong Da-Ha Noi took the checkered flag for the 160km second stage with a time of 5hr 7.05min from Phan Thiet in Binh Thuan Province to Phan Rang in Ninh Thuan Province.

Lam Cong Danh of An Giang and Le Huu Phuoc from Military Zone 7 finished second and third.
