HA NOI (VNS) — Dwight Yorke, the Trinidad&Tobago striker who helped Manchester United win the 1999 European Champions League title, will come to Viet Nam on November 7 to join in a national street football tournament, the BIDV Manchester United Cup 2014.
Nearly 200 teams from across the country will take part. The qualifying round will take place on November 8 in HCM City's Phu Tho Gymnasium, then move to Ha Noi's Quan Ngua Sport Palace on November 15 and round it up in Da Nang on November 21.
The 12 best teams will take part in the final rounds on November 23 in Da Nang. The winner will claim an award of VND360 million (US$17,100). — VNS
