HA NOI (VNS)— Electronic versions of various historical and folk legends of Viet Nam have been widely launched via international e-book channels and libraries in Europe and the United States.
Military Viettel Telecom Corporation and Kim Dong Publishing House have jointly promoted more than 30 English-Vietnamese bilingual e-books, with colour illustrations featuring Vietnamese historical and folk legends, via more than 180 retail book channels such as iBooks, Barnes and Noble and Google and various libraries in Europe and the US.
The book collections include Kings of Vietnam, Heroes of Vietnam, Vietnam Legendaries and Vietnam in Old Tales, besides Dear Hanoi.

Viettel has installed software that automatically converts PDF files into the EPUB 3.0.2 standard to match all reading devices and screen sizes in five languages, which are Vietnamese, English, Spanish and Chinese, besides Japanese.
Viettel also cares about metadata management solutions that follow the international ONIX 3.0 standard of the International Digital Publishing Forum. — VNS
