Nguyen Thi Quyen Trang on Monday pocketed her second record at the National Archery Championships which is ongoing in Hai Phong City.

Trang of Soc Trang Province shot 326 points to secure the gold in the women's recurve (one-stringed bow) 70m event, eight points better than the old record set by Hai Phong's Nguyen Thi Huong in 2010.

Trang's first record was in the all-round recurve event on Sunday.

Loc Thi Dao of Ha Noi scored 312 points to finish second, and later went on to triumph in the 60m recurve with 332 points.

In the men's compound (three-stringed bow) category, Hanoian Nguyen Tien Cuong took two more golds in the 70m and 90m events.

The championships will wrap up on Friday.-VNS
