HCM CITY (VNS) — About 10,000 books and documents on the American war in Viet Nam and the country's reunification will be displayed at an HCM City exhibition from April 27 to May 1.
The event is part of the activities being held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the liberation of South Viet Nam that led to national reunification (April 30).
The books and documents will be divided into two categories of the American war to liberate the country, and the development and integration process in Viet Nam.
According to the organisers, the event aims to provide a deep and comprehensive look at the great significance of the war against America, and strengthen people's trust in the leadership of the Viet Nam Communist Party.
Visitors will meet veterans who took part in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, and also authors of books on the American war.
The exhibition will be held at the city's General Sciences Library, located at 69 Ly Tu Trong, District 1. — VNS
