HA NOI (VNS)— The first Vietnamese International Exhibition on Film and Television Technology will be held in Ha Noi from next Wednesday to Friday.
The event is aimed at providing opportunities for Vietnamese experts to learn about advanced technologies in the production of television programmes and films.
Titled Co-operation to Develop, Telefilm 2013 will be the venue for people from more than 200 national and local television stations, film studios and enterprises from Southeast Asia and Denmark.
According to Nguyen Thanh Luong, deputy director of Viet Nam Television, the event will showcase programmes, advertising, copyright and TV formats, media techniques, software, technological solutions and management.
In addition, it will reflect the achievements of more than 40 years of the television industry in Viet Nam.
Visitors will be able to take part in some of the game shows displayed at the exhibition.
Three seminars on the television industry will be held at the International Exhibition Centre, based at the Culture Friendship Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao Street.
The seminar, on methods and technology for the measurement of television audiences, will be held at 2pm next Wednesday.
International developments will be discussed at 9am on Thursday.
Movie-lovers and film experts are invited to a seminar on Thursday at 2pm featuring ways of improving the quality of Vietnamese dramas and TV series.
The three-day exhibition will run until June 21.— VNS
