HUE (VNS) — The Nadarzyn orchestra, one of the most famous orchestras in Poland, will perform on the streets for the first time during the Hue festival on April 12, according to the event's organisation board.
The Polish orchestra, established in 1998 by music director Miroslaw Chilmanowicz, will bring many different types of music to Viet Nam, from folk melodies about religion and patriotism to pop, jazz and classical tunes for drum and trumpet.
Nadarzyn has performed in many countries around the world such as Italy, Ukraine, Germany, Malaysia and the United States. They were awarded a medal for contributions to Polish culture by Poland's Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. — VNS
