FC Tecotec An Duong defeated Top Group to take the Larue Cup, an amateur football tournament which concluded in Ha Noi-based Quan Ngua Sports Palace on Sunday.

In the third-place play-off match, Ha Thang FC beat HD Bank to get the bronze medal.

The winner received VND30 million (US$1,400) and a berth in Da Nang's finals where they will meet with champions from 16 other cities and provinces for the super cup trophy and a bonus of VND100 million ($4,800).

The tournament attracted 200 amateur teams in Ha Noi but only 32 teams of five-a-side competed in final round.

It is the fifth year the tournament has been organised nationwide.-VNS
