HA NOI (VNS)– International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) officials worked with the Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF) to promote youth football training yesterday.

Those involved were Domeka Garamendi from FIFA's Asia Zone Development division, FIFA technical director Jean-Michel Benezet and marketing instructor Etinenne Marechal, along with Vietnamese officials.

As planned, the FIFA delegation will inspect the quality and facilities of the Viet Nam Youth Training Centre before establishing a national youth football training system under FIFA's professional model for national football federations.

If FIFA agrees, the Viet Nam Youth Training Centre will become a National Football Institute in the near future. -- VNS
