the country's most momentous occasions will be screened nationwide from
August 17 to September 4.
HA NOI (VNS)– A selection of motion pictures and documentaries spotlighting some of the country's most momentous occasions will be screened nationwide from August 17 to September 4.
The film festival will enable movie buffs to revisit a number of famous films including Hoai Vu Trang (White Dance); Chop Mat Cung So Phan (Fated Moment) and Vi Mau Xanh Cua Rung (For a Green Forest). The films were produced by Feature Film Studio I and the Viet Nam National Documentary and Scientific Studio.
The festival, co-organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism along with the Department of Cinematography, marks the 68th anniversary of the August Revolution on August 19 and National Day on September 2.
To mark the occasion, hundreds of DVDs will be made and distributed across the country. – VNS
