Vietnamese chefs prepare the fish in various Norwegian and Vietnamese fusion dishes at the intersection of Hang Khay and Ba Trieu near Hoan Kiem Lake yesterday during lunchtime. The event was arranged by the Norwegian Embassy to celebrate the relationship between Norway and Viet Nam and to introduce Norwegian seafood to Ha Noi's rich street food culture. Passers-by were invited to taste the food, as well. During the demonstration, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg dropped by to chat informally with the guests about the food and to share recipes with local chefs. "Hanoian street food and Norwegian salmon are both world famous," Solberg said. "It is exciting to see how these two elements from different parts of the world go so well together." — Photos courtesy of Innovation Norway
