The Ton Hoa Sen Cup, a football tournament for underprivileged children, is scheduled to kick off in HCM City today.

The event, the 14th of its kind so far, has attracted the participation of eight teams. They will be divided into two groups and compete in a round-robin format with the best four teams entering the semi-finals.

As planned, limbless Australian writer Nick Vujicic will play football during the opening ceremony. — VNS
