DONG NAI (VNS) — Police have decided to prosecute 10 people, including six football players of Dong Nai FC, for allegedly envolving in a recent match-fixing.

Major-General Ho Sy Tien, head of the Police Department for the Investigation of Social Order-related Crimes, yesterday confirmed the news, adding that the investigation was ongoing.

The players arranged the score of the match between Dong Nai and Quang Ninh Coal, held during the 21st round of the national premier league on July 20, in which their team was to lose by two goals. Dong Nai lost 3-5 to Quang Ninh.
