HCM CITY (VNS)— More than 40 singers and theatre artists will perform at a free gala performance, Tuoi Tre Viet Nam-Cau Chuyen Hoa Binh (Vietnamese Youth-the Story of Peace), in HCM City next week to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the country's National Day (September 2).
The evening will feature pop stars My Tam and Quang Dung, and young singers Dinh Huong, Truc Nhan, Dong Nhi and Trung Quan Idol as well as nearly 70 dancers, musicians and pop bands.
Revolutionary music and dance, and national heroes and soldiers, will be featured, as well as songs in praise of love and peace.
The artists will perform before an expected audience of more than 1,300 at Hoa Binh Theatre.
The event's organisers, Central Association of Vietnamese Youth and Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper, in co-operation with its partners, will present tickets to students and young people.
The concert will begin at 7.30pm on September 2 at Hoa Binh Theatre, 240 Ba Thang Hai Street, District 10. It will air on Viet Nam Television's VTV6 and provincial channels. — VNS
