HA NOI - Ha Noi's patchy walls are being depicted in graffiti paintings by Lolo Zazar at the French cultural centre, l'Espace.

Zazar said that during her five-year stay in Viet Nam she had been impressed by the mouldy walls of the Old Quarter and their patchwork of telephone numbers advertising people who can drill concrete slabs and walls.

"Those walls are typical of Vietnamese cities, not only Ha Noi," Zazar said. They reflected the life in the city, she said.

The exhibition will end on June 11 at l'Espace, 24 Trang Tien St.-- VNS
