HA NOI (VNS) — The Parisii Quartet, well-known in Europe and particularly in France, will perform in a classical concert in Ha Noi on Saturday to introduce their music to the Vietnamese audience.
The quartet, comprising Arnaud Vallin (first violin), Doriane Gable (second violin), Dominique Lobet (viola) and Jean-Philippe Martignoni (cello), will play the works of composers Boccherini, Haydn, Webern, Debussy, Campo and Glass, and Schubert.
Founded by four students from the National Conservatory of Paris, the quartet celebrated its 30th anniversary with many performances in different countries.
They have excellence and maturity in their performances and are reputed for playing both instrumental and chamber music.
Based on a shared ambition of excellence and eclecticism, the Parisii musicians have developed a repertoire of impressive breadth and unequal quality of interpretation over the years, placing them amongst the greatest performers.
It is the only string quartet worldwide offering a live performance of the Book for String Quartet, the incredibly complex full work of P. Boulez.
The concert will take place at L'Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Ha Noi. — VNS
