HA NOI (VNS) — German choreographer Arco Renz will train dancers of the Viet Nam National Opera and Ballet (VNOB) during a week-long dance workshop next week.
The workshop will be held from March 17 to 23 in Ha Noi under a planned German-Vietnamese dance project.
Renz will compose a new dance performance with selected dancers of the VNOB. The dance will be performed in September in Ha Noi as a part of the fourth Europe Meets Asia in Contemporary Dance Festival.
Known as one of the best young choreographers in Germany, Renz has already composed several dance productions in Asia. His choreography is characterised by intense physicality and explores the emotional potential in movements, together with the interaction between movements, lights, video and music.— VNS
