HA NOI (VNS) — German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier agreed to sponsor an exhibition on Vietnamese culture in the fall of 2016 in Herne, Germany.
The exhibit, Archaeological Treasures and Vietnamese Culture from the Country of the Rising Dragon, will highlight Viet Nam's culture and history dating back to the stone age at the Archaeological Museum of Westfalia.
Highlights will include artefacts from the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, many of which have never been displayed abroad.
This will be the first time the Archaeological Museum of Westfalia will organise such a large-scale display. The artefacts will travel to other German cities in 2017, including Chemnitz and Mannheim. — VNS
