HCM CITY (VNS0— Vietnamese students can now take part in the 2013 Google Student Ambassadors (GSAs) Programme for which applications are now open, the company said in a statement on Monday.

Outlining the qualities being sought in applicants, the statement said "GSAs are excited by new technology, enthusiastic about Google, and they are involved in their school communities."

Any undergraduate student enrolled in full-time study at a university in Viet Nam who can spare around 10 hours a month for activities is eligible to apply.

"It doesn't matter if you're studying IT or Art, if you want the opportunity to enhance your professional development, leadership, and communication skills, and get access to a unique network of Google Ambassadors across South East Asia, then we'd love to hear from you," the statement proclaimed. — VNS
