HA NOI (VNS)—Ha Noi and HCM City are among the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia for young people from England because of the low prices of hotels and services.
Other favourite destinations are Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia and Bangkok and Chiang Mai in Thailand.
According to a global survey on hotel prices by hotels.com, Phnom Penh has the lowest hotel cost: 35 pounds (US$ 56) per night against 180 pounds ($288) per night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Ha Noi follows with 41 pounds a night and HCM City ranks sixth with 60 pounds a night.– VNS.
