HA NOI (VNS) — The Museum of Ha Noi has received more than 600 documents and objects donated by individuals and organisations after three months of mobilisation.
In a review yesterday, the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that the donated objects serve a display for Ha Noi's 60 years of development.
The artefacts consist of 259 materials related to the people's resistance against the Americans, and 387 objects that reflect the spiritual and material life of Hanoians during the period of centrally planned economy.
Of note are several objects that have been highly praised by a council of experts, such as a set of seals used by Dong Da District's Department of Trade Services from 1958 to 1986; a set of stamps that recorded the number of American aircraft shot down; and a bag with a diagram of the flight route of late President Ho Chi Minh on September 15, 1967; as well as a collection of photographs that the American air force took of Ha Noi's military, political and administrative targets.
