April 15 to 20.
HA NOI (VNS) — The Chol Chnam Thmay festival to mark New Year of the Khmer ethnic people living in the south will be celebrated for the first time in Ha Noi as part of the Viet Nam's Ethnic Cultural Day from April 15 to 20.
The festival, to include all the usual Buddhist rituals and the customs of the Khmer, will features offerings to gods and music and dance performances.
The Khmer in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh celebrate their traditional New Year from April 14 to 16. — VNS
