Nguyen Trung Kien of Ha Noi broke two national records at the National Diving Championships in HCM City on Sunday.

He won a gold medal in the men's 50m event by beating the previous record time of 15.99sec by 0.82sec. Kien broke his second record in the men's 100m event with a time of 36.61sec.

Kien's two medals mean that Ha Noi now have five golds, taking them to second place in the team rankings. They trail the hosts who currently top the table with seven golds, four silvers and four bronze medals.
