HA NOI (VNS) — HCM City's Tran Duy Khoi won three gold medals in the first day of competition at the ongoing National Junior Age-Groups Swimming Championships in Ha Noi on May 17.
In the boys' 16-18, Khoi brought home gold medals in the 50m breast stroke, 200m medley and 400m relay.
In the girls' 14-15, Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram of HCM City took gold in the 200m medley and 100m butterfly.
HCM City's swimmers had trained during long-term training sessions in China before heading to Ha Noi for the event.
The event will finish on May 20 with the awarding of 102 sets of medals. — VNS
