HCM CITY — The board of the 37th HCM City Artistic Photograph Competition has announced the contest winners.

A work called Cong Trinh Moi (New Construction) brought HCM City-based photographer Do Huu Luan the Golden Prize. Suc Song Moi (New Vitality) by Vo Trung Kien from An Giang Province and Ngam Muc Tieu (Target) by Ha Quoc Thai from Tien Giang Province were granted the Silver Prize.

Three Bronze Prizes were given to Dan Luoi (Fishnet Weaving) by Nguyen Tan Ghi, Thep Do (Hot Steel) by Le Thanh Ngon, and Nhan (Patience) by Nguyen Minh Tan.

Five Encouragement Prizes were also given to different photographers from HCM City, Long An and Ninh Thuan.

Awards will be distributed at the opening ceremony of an exhibition displaying 104 selected photos from the contest, which will take place at the HCM City Photographic Artists' Association on Saturday. — VNS
