A festival called "HCM City – Our Home" will be held at the Van Thanh Tourist Resort in Binh Thanh District from September 10-12. The event aims at having city residents, particularly expatriates, learn more about the city, its history and culture.

The festival will include an exhibition titled "HCM City's Foreign Affairs: Integration and Development, a display of traditional dresses worn by Vietnamese ethnic minorities, a concert featuring don ca tai tu folk music, a "Favourite Song" competition, and a cooking contest.

On the occasion, the municipal People's Committee plans to release 100 copies of a book on HCM City's foreign affairs to commemorate the anniversaries of the country's diplomatic relations with 25 countries. — VNS
