HA NOI (VNS) — The Viet Nam International Judo Tournament will begin in HCM City on October 17.
Nearly 160 fighters from countries such as Japan, South Korea, Mongolia and Viet Nam have registered to compete for 18 sets of medals in both kata and kumite events in the tournament. There will
be eight men's and eight women's weight categories.
The organisers are holding competitions for visually impaired participants for the first time this year. Competitors from South Korea, India, Hong Kong and Thailand, besides Viet Nam have confirmed their participation.
The tournament will end on October 19. — VNS
