The Heat rose to a 30-25 lead in the second quarter, but Rob Wainwright and Warren Ybanez fought back to give the Patriots a 34-30 advantage.
In the final quarter, the Heat's Noy Javier and John Smith both missed three-pointers as the Patriots continued to extend their lead.
The Heat will face the Indonesia Warriors at Tan Binh Gymnasium tomorrow.-VNS
