Hoang Anh Gia Lai plan to make big changes in personnel in the coming season, as 12 players have been removed from their squad list.
The V-League side have decided to filter their team after a poor result in the 2013-14 season, finishing at No 9, out of 12 teams.
The out-of-use list includes both unknown players, such as Thanh Tuan and Minh Hoang, as well as key members Nguyen Quy Suu, Duong Van Pho and Phung Van Nhien.
Also, Doan Nguyen Duc, owner of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, has created a plan to push their U19 generation to compete in the national premier league next season.
Their U19s include Nguyen Cong Phuong, Nguyen Tuan Anh and Tran Huu Dong Trieu, who contribute the most to the current national U19 squad.
Earlier, Hoang Anh Gia Lai ended their contract with South Korean coach Choi Yoon-gyum. — VNS
