Ba Na Hills resort now offers a package tour to the old town of Hoi An, the company told Viet Nam News earlier this week.

The one- and two day-tours will help draw tourists from the popular destination of Hoi An to the mountainous resort in Da Nang.

Visitors can also book tours directly from the city to Ngu Hanh Son Marble Mountains and My Khe Beach.

The resort is currently offering the one-day tour for VND650,000 per person, while the two-day is priced at VND1.5 million.

The resort, which was honoured with a double Guinness World record for the longest and highest non-stop cable car systems, hosted 650,000 tourists in the first eight months of this year.

In July, Da Nang-based travel agency Vitours began to operate a bus route to the Ba Na Hills resort with six trips per day at a cost of VND110,000 (US$5.20) for a round-trip ticket.-VNS
