Viet Nam took top place at the International Judo Open which ended in southern Bac Lieu Province on Saturday.

The host won eight gold medals, one more than second-placed South Korea. Singapore stood third with one gold.

Earlier the Vietnamese athletes also triumphed at the Southeast Asian Judo Championships, grabbing 15 gold medals, all were in combat events. — VNS
