KHANH HOA (VNS) - An international fair to promote sea tourism in Viet Nam has been approved by the Nha Trang provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The fair will provide an opportunity for domestic tourism firms to work with international travel firms to attract more visitors to Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa Province and also to the rest of Viet Nam.
Titled Sea, Islands and Tourism Development, it will be held at the Diamond Bay tourist area in Nha Trang city from June 6 to 8 next year.
It will feature 200 stores, 30 per cent of which will be foreign. It is expected that it will grow to become an important tourism event organised biennially.
"The fair will be a good opportunity to advertise tourism in Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa, drawing foreign tourists and foreign investment," said Truong Dang Tuyen, director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
"It will also help businesses study, exchange and sign business agreements," he said. - VNS
