HUE - The Israeli band MOSAIC will entertain audiences at the Hue festival tonight with a performance of diverse music including traditional Israeli folk songs.

Titled The Shepherd in Love, the performance focuses on music inspired by love and nature. The band has selected pieces ranging from the 17th century to a world premiere of Three Sacred Songs composed by Ozed Zehavi, a member of the band and a leading musician in Israel.

Other band members also include singer Einat Aronstein, flautist Margalit Gafni Maltz and pianist Irena Friedland. The group has performed in many countries including the UK, France, Spain, the US and Mexico.

Last Friday, Oded Zehavi, who works as the chairman of the Music Department of the University of Haifa, held a lecture with teachers and students at Viet Nam's National Academy of Music in Ha Noi. VNS
