HA NOI (VNS)— After their successful performance in Ha Noi, "Divo of Viet Nam," Tung Duong and Vietnamese-French musician/producer Nguyen Le will present their music project Doc Dao (Only Path) at Theatre Adyar, Paris on March 2.

The project resulted in Duong's latest album Doc Dao which is presented in world jazz style and has received a great deal of acclaim from music critics.

Their partners at Theatre Adyar will be same as those who performed in Ha Noi, Le's group S.O.F, Senegal's singer Julia Sarr and singer Huong Thanh who has worked with the musician for many years through his famous music projects Tales from Viet Nam, Maghreb and Friends, Mangustao, and Fragile Beauty. Another special guest will be musician Nguyen Cong Phuong Nam who was the producer of Duong's album Li Ti in 2010.

"It's my great honour and good fortune to work with Le. I have long wished that my singing would go far beyond Viet Nam's territory. Conquering the world audience is always the quest of any artist," Duong said. "I'm confident that Doc Dao will not walk alone in Paris."

The Paris performance is considered the first in his world tour. The pair will take Doc Dao to Tokyo, Japan, another hub of world music, in late April. — VNS
