has won the broadcast rights for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)
U23 Championship qualifier and special accompanying programmes.
HA NOI (VNS) — The Vietnam Digital Satellite Television (VSTV) announced yesterday it has won the broadcast rights for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship qualifier and special accompanying programmes.
Football lovers will be able to watch the championship on VSTV's K+ channels.
Viet Nam will be competing in Group I, along with Japan, Macau and hosts Malaysia.
It will also play against Malaysia during the first match on March 27, against Japan two days later and against Macau on March 31.
Manager Toshyia Miura of Viet Nam is aiming to win a berth to the final round of the AFC U23 Championship in 2016.
VSTV officially holds the exclusive broadcast rights for the qualifier in all of Viet Nam and for all six matches of Group I, which will be aired live.
The company will also share the broadcast for the matches with the Vietnam Television's free-to-air channels in the form of a free transmission that will cater to Vietnamese football fans.
VSTV will also fully transmit the matches from Malaysia to the audience through special programmes in the form of commentary shows, diaries and spotlight features. — VNS
