HA NOI (VNS) — Vietnamese player Nguyen Anh Khoi re-entered the world's top 10 by defeating Finnish Keinaken Toivo in the ninth match at the ongoing World Youth Chess Championships 2014.
After nine matches, former U10 champion Khoi has five points and is in the eighth position in the boys' U12 category.
In the boys' U8 division, Vo Pham Thien Phuc has won four points and is also in the top 10.
The World Youth Chess Championships are taking place in Durban, South Africa, with boys and girls playing matches in the U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 categories. — VNS
