HA NOI (VNS) — Graham Knight of the UK Embassy won the men's event for foreigners at the 42nd annual Ha Noi Moi Run at Sword Lake in Ha Noi yesterday.
On the women's side, Anni Carson of UNIS took the title.
In the men's team event, Thanh Hoa triumphed followed by the Border Soldiers and the hosts Ha Noi. The women's Border Soldiers outdid their male compatriots to take the title, followed by the Ministry of Public Security and Ha Noi.
The event attracted more than 1,500 runners, including nearly 350 foreigners and 200 professional Vietnamese runners.
The event was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, and the 61st anniversary of Capital Liberation Day. — VNS
