HA NOI (VNS)– South Korean traditional music group Ensemble Sinawi and Vietnamese break-dance group S.L.N.E will perform at a joint concert in Ha Noi's Au Co Theatre tomorrow.

Songs will include Korea's traditional Arirang, and modern Rapsody of Donghae and Vietnamese folk song Cay Truc Xinh.

The climax of the event will be a dance performance by S.L.N.E accompanied by a musical piece, Dancing Moonlight, performed by Ensemble Sinawi.

The six-member Ensemble Sinawi will play a 12-string zither, a large bamboo transverse flute, drum and piano and perform Sinawi, a traditional Korean musical genre which, like jazz, encourages improvisation.

The event is part of a Korea Festival in ASEAN countries held by the Korea Foundation.

The Ha Noi concert starts at 7.30pm tomorrow. The HCM City's concert will be held on June 13 at the Conservatory, 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1.

Entry is free. Further information can be reached via cs.jee@kf.or.kr – VNS
